What we Believe: Seventh's Doctrinal Standards
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the infallible and inerrant Word of
God and our supreme rule of faith and conduct. We utilize in subordinate
fashion certain faithful summaries of their teaching, such as the
ecumenical statements of the faith (e.g. the Apostles™, Athanasian,
and Nicene Creeds), and more specifically the Three Forms of Unity:
the Belgic Confession (1561), the Heidelberg Catechism (1563), and
the Canons of the Synod of Dordt (1619). We also acknowledge the
value of the Westminster Standards (1647).
What we Are: Seventh's Mission Statement
Seventh Reformed is a covenant community of God's people
that exists to glorify God by gathering, nurturing, and equipping
believers according to the supreme Word of God for life in the
Spirit, Christian service, and witness to Jesus Christ in
Grand Rapids and throughout the world.
